Mel Brown
Mel is a Brevard native who recently moved back after 13 years. She's done everything from bartending to financial planning, but found her true calling while living in Denver, Colorado in 2009. After being laid off, she began assisting small business owners virtually with online marketing, customer service, and administrative assistance. Being a self-proclaimed closeted introvert, Mel found these behind-the-scenes support roles a perfect fit. The idea for Mountain Life Coworking transpired in April, when she acknowledged her own lack of productivity while working remotely. The kitchen table wasn't cutting it, neither were noisy coffee shops. Two months later, on June 12th 2014, Mountain Life Coworking opened its doors. Mel still virtually assists a handful of small business owners from her new Main Street location, and hopes to see other freelancers and entrepreneurs thrive in the space as well.

As Mom to 9 and Grandmommy to 3, my days are busy, my life is full, and the demands on me are many. Very early in life I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and have suffered on and off for many years with the pain and fatigue and overall "illness" this causes. When I discovered the Greens from IT WORKS and found myself becoming more healthy than I had been in years, I also discovered a home business that allows me to become debt free, build a legacy for my family and continue to homeschool my children and choose my work hours. IT WORKS is a home based business like no other - and we are daily experiencing the blessings of this choice.
Kevin Williams
Growing up in Western North Carolina afforded Kevin the opportunity to spend a great deal of time exploring the local woods and rivers. He developed a passion for moving water and the life within it at a young age. Around that time Kevin's father taught him the basics of fly fishing. This provided him with an opportunity to spend more time on the rivers when they were too low to paddle. As he grew older Kevin, began to find the quiet contemplative nature of fly fishing more appealing than even the thrill of hard whitewater. Kevin has fished extensively in the Carolina's, Virginia, West Virginia, Montana, and Colorado to name a few, and has been a fly fishing guide in Western North Carolina since 2010.

San Diego native, schooled in Seattle, currently in Brevard. Jane is currently going to school for Graphic Design.
